California newspapers are available in all the major cities as well as many of the smaller communities. Large cities in California ( and there are many) have numerous California newspapers including some daily, some weekly, major metro, alternative, campus, business and most of them available online.

Los Angeles Times
The Los Angeles Times is one of the most popular California newspapers and is published daily in the Los Angeles area. It's also distributed all over Western United States. Investor's Business Daily was started as a way to help investors by offering them news and articles that are not in the Wall Street Journal.
